Action Tracking tool captures all the actions and related information in one place, grouped in convenient Tracker modules that make it easy to keep on top of what’s happening. To meeting actions to public records requests – and every other list you keep. One of Trackers with Action Tracking is utilized for meeting decisions for the actions resulting from the resolutions/outcomes of the minutes to be tracked from the beginning to completion. Upon the completion of the required action the resolution/outcome can be re-introduced into a future agenda. By using the Meeting Decision tracker, it allows for all of these actions to be electronically tracked, replacing the need to manually keep track of these items. Not only will this save time getting things done, both for the individual assigning the actions and who need to complete it, but also allows for all the information to be stored together. This is accomplished by taking advantage of the different aspects of an item in Action Tracking. The most popular ones being: adding associated attachments and sending out notifications.

Action Tracking

The fields and layout of the Meeting Decision tracker were created based upon customer feedback as to what they would find the most useful being on the tracker. The fields and layout of the tracker can be customized to your organizational needs. Upon your organization being comfortable working with the Meeting Decision tracker, we (iCompass) can then begin implementing the other available trackers, as per the service agreement. There are pre-defined trackers available such as bylaws, call center, complaint, correspondence, and FOI request available to all of our customers. These are just the standard ones, but other trackers can be developer to be able to start tracking any other aspects that organization would like!

Training sessions are available for Action Tracking, they are held on a weekly basis. To ensure the most flexibility for our customers to attend these sessions, they are held on a rotating schedule. Appears to be concise and well thought out as long as it used for what it has been designed for and not a just another make work project for someone which when completed does not go anywhere but into another folder of statistics.
